It has been an extremely busy last 6 months here in the kitchen. Our catering is definitely on the map and we just love supplying tasty morsels to all our local (and out of towners) community businesses. Amanda reminded me as I was saying how organised and free-flowing things were going, was that last Christmas I was still recovering from surgery and unable to race around like I have this year!
We have upgraded our catering menu to suit a variety of groups, businesses and schools. Take a look on the catering page!
Currently we are about to start up seafood Friday again where we change things up each week with a different seafood option.
Delicious smoothies are now available, and we have also added matcha to our menu.
Our uniforms were starting to look a wee bit tired so we gave them a re-vamp and all our girls are looking very smart I must say!!
All our staff are family to us, but we also now have my two daughters and son part of the team. Chanel has taken on an admin role and now making the process of modern advertising a much easier task for me!
Eva works with our elderly clients and delivers delicious home cooked meals for them to enjoy at their homes. We have had Blake working with us as well for the last two years as our head pie maker so it’s totally a family affair now!
Peter has been busy creating new pie flavours and has finally found his "inner chef" - you will find amazing salads, Italian stallions, gourmet sausage rolls and even a quail pie that he seems to whip up when the fancy takes him.
This year is going to be exciting, with an expanding team it means I can now get my teeth into more cooking classes, get this darn cookbook on the shelves and also spend more time with my amazing granddaughters........I cannot wait to share it all with you, my faithful followers and dedicated kitchen clients.
